Our Doctor

​​​​​Dr. Thanh Sang Pham grew up in Houston, Texas.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and doctorate degree at the University of Houston College of Optometry. Her externship at Northeastern State University-College of Optometry gave her the experience to diagnose and initiate treatment in vasculopathic patients with diabetes mellitus, systemic hypertension, and peripheral vascular disease based on retinal changes. She had extensive training to diagnose/assess, treat, and manage glaucoma, chalazions, and other lid lesions. Her training at New Mexico VA Medical Center allowed her to practice comprehensive optometric care with full patient management by communicating with various providers, both primary care and specialist physicians, as well as ordering labs and imaging studies in a general medical and surgical hospital setting.  Dr. Pham has a great understanding of general medical conditions and their correlation to ocular problems.

Dr. Pham is passionate about myopia management.  EYE to the MAX, Dr. Pham practices preventative medicine; to keep risk factors for ocular disease (retinal detachment, glaucoma, myopic maculopathy) from increasing.  Eye Max is improving the quality of life in these children.  From ballet and cheer to swimming and soccer, these children have the freedom to move freely without the use of their daytime eyewear.  

With a family-oriented community layout and an excellent school system, Katy, TX attracted Dr. Pham.   At Eye Max, we use advanced diagnostic technology and vision correction products and are committed to improving the quality of life of persons in the Katy community through enhanced vision.

Outside of the office, Dr. Pham loves to take pictures and edit videos of her girls, Avery and Claire bear.  Dr. Pham enjoys art and craft with her girls and family weekend activities.

​​​​​Dr. Quoc Nguyen grew up in Friendswood, TX.  He earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Operations Management.  He received his doctorate degree from University the University of College of Optometry.  He is licensed in the diagnosis and treatment of various ocular diseases including diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, dry eye management, and eye emergencies.  Prescribe Proper care, treatment options, and medications to achieve optimal ocular health.  Educate patients on preventive care.  

During his training, he interned at Eyecare of Greenvile, TX.  Managed ocular diseases and disorders, perform foreign body removal and mobile eye care at several nursing homes
He also interned at Alamo Eye Care where he diagnosed, treated and managed glaucoma through analyzing GDx Nerve Fiber Analyzer, gonioscopy,
pachymetry, and visual field.  He also volunteered at Haven for Hope

When Dr. Nguyen is not working, he enjoys cooking his family, prefers watching (over playing) “live” online gaming like Dota 2, catch, read the news, take his daughters to kid’s activities (Chuck E. cheese, Urban Air/Trampoline Park), and has an interest in repairing damaged items.
